September 14th

Last Monday, September 14th, was our one year wedding anniversary! It meant so much to us to be able to spend some much needed time together. The whole night was perfect. We reminisced about our wedding day and how beautiful it was. We have had an amazing first year as newlyweds.

I took one of our gorgeous wedding photos, changed it to black and white, blew it up and put it in a frame for Brandon.

Brandon got me beautiful roses and we got thoughtful gifts from the people we love.

Brandon got us His and Hers beach cruisers. A great gift and so unexpected! I love him!

Time with friends

This past Saturday we made our way up to LA to visit our good friends, Lissy and Ernie. They are happily expecting a baby this month so we were excited to go and visit them! We piled in the car and made our way to the LA Zoo. We saw so many great animals, my favorite being the giraffe's. We had a great trip with great friends!

A year of planning in anticipation for the big day, a familiar feeling. Samantha and Tom finally got hitched last Saturday. I was among the beautiful wedding party and Brandon was the perfect date. It was a gorgeous wedding and we are so happy for them!

Brandon's 30th Birthday - Part 2

We continued Brandon's birthday celebration with a trip to 6 Flags Magic Mountain for some roller coaster riding.

Brandon's 30th Birthday - Part 1

Brandon was really nervous about turning 30 so I wanted to make sure we did something special to celebrate what an amazing husband, son, brother, and friend he is. It was a big surprise and we all managed to keep it a secret. We surprised him in a private bowling room and it meant a lot to him to have everyone there.

We love our nephew

I don't think I could ever love a little person so much! Our incredible nephew turned one at the beginning of August and it simply filled our hearts with joy to see him grow up through his first year of life. His proud mommy threw him a beyond fabulous party and it was clear he had a blast!

Trying to catch up

I haven't blogged in awhile, so now it is time to play catch-up. We have had so many things happen in the last month. Some celebrations, some tears, some trials
and some smiles.
It all starts with the continuation of Samantha's pre-wedding events. The first two pictures are of Sam in our wedding and if you look closely in the second picture you can see Sam giving us her approval with a thumbs up, while her hard-working cameraman fiance shot some gorgeous candid photos of us.
