Puppy Update

We talked to our breeder yesterday and she informed us that we could bring home our little puppy next weekend if he is at a big enough weight! She said he is so cute and everybody just loves him. She also told us that many people have inquired about him as they come by to look at her other puppies but he is all ours! We can't wait to have our little puppy to play with everyday.

Nothing much to say...

I keep trying to think of something to write about, or write about what's going on in our lives but there is nothing. Its hard to find something to say when you are laying low and staying in. We have spent almost every night, the past week, at home. We are trying to catch up on tivoed shows and just be with each other. We are officially hooked on 24 and always look for a movie to watch every evening. I will catch you up when we return to the real world soon!

A new addition

We finally got a dog! We have been searching for a dog for a long time and I am so excited we finally found one. Unfortunately, he is at the breeder still because he is too little to take home. He is only 3 weeks old, but we have been visiting him and spending time with him.
He is such a sweet little puppy and we cannot wait to take him home.
Brandon is beyond is excited,
he came home the other day with a little doggie bed.
This little puppy is going to have a loving home with us.

Brandon loves me

This is a picture of me and Brandon on the plane ride home back to California. We look like a hot mess! We were so tired and ready to get back to our own bed. We were at the airport waiting to depart and I mentioned to Brandon that I love traveling with him because I always feel safe and I told him how much I love him for taking care of me. He says back to me, in the sweetest way possible, sorry sweetie but I don't like traveling with you. You are cranky and you get motion sickness all the time. I started laughing so hard because it is so true! But he went on to say that he still loves me!
I'm a lucky girl.

New Years Day

This was, by far, my favorite day of our whole trip. Of course we all woke up late because of the night before but once we got moving we had a lovely day. It seemed everyone was checking out of their hotels or staying inside because the streets were nice and quiet (by New York standards anyway). We started off downtown at Wall Street admiring all the beautiful architecture and enjoying the gorgeous weather; this was the one day it didn't snow. We saw the exquisite Trinity church and admired the statue of liberty. The best part of the whole day was spending time in Central Park. The four of us then walked to one of Rob's favorite dive bars to watch football, eat good food, and relax. Later on that evening, we made our way up to Rob's apartment to watch a movie and say our goodbyes. At about midnight, Brandon and I hopped in a cab and headed back to our hotel. The next morning we packed up our stuff and left the greatest city in the world and headed back to sunny California.

New Years Eve

This was a crazy busy day in New York City. Everyone preparing for the ball to drop and trying to grab a front row seat. This was the day Brandon had been waiting for, this was the day he went to Yankee stadium. He is the biggest Yankee fan I know and he was looking forward to this for months! The four of us went to Grand Central Station where the boys departed for the Bronx to see the famous stadium and me and Brittany went shopping and had some best friend time. I was excited to go to 5th avenue and see all the famous shops and I couldn't resist stopping by the New York City Express. All who know me know that is my all time favorite store. Rob was sending us updates on the Yankee stadium experience and he said that as soon as he and Brandon got off the train, Brandon started taking pictures like crazy. We all met up again for a late lunch before heading our separate ways to get all dressed up and ready to go out for an amazing New Years. Later in the evening Brandon and I took the subway up to Rob's apartment and had some champagne with all of his friends before heading out. We all headed downtown to celebrate at Johnny Utah's.
We had a fabulous time!

Just Arrived

The plane ride to New York City was so exciting. We flew into Jersey and saw the beautiful skyline we had been so anxious to see. We got off the plane to 30 degree weather and realized we weren't in California anymore. We hopped into a cab right away and headed to our hotel. We arrived at the hotel to a very cold Brittany and Rob waiting to greet us. We were surprised to see that our hotel was directly across the street from Madison Square Garden. We didn't waste any time roaming the streets. Our first stop was Times Square. We were intrigued and amazed by all the lights and sounds. We were happy to sit down and have a nice meal with Britt and Rob. We ate right in the middle of Times Square. It was beautiful! After dinner we continued to walk and site see. We passed by the NBC studios store and walked in and made a B-line for all the FRIENDS memorabilia. On our way back to our hotel we passed by the famous New York City Library, the one where Carrie almost got married at in the Sex and the City movie. It was gorgeous! The four of us walked to the Empire State building and parted ways. Brandon and I then attempted to go up to the top. We were told it was going to be freezing up there and it was! The wind chill was almost unbearable, but we braved it because it was an amazing feeling being at the very top. It was a great way to end our first night there!
